This section of Volume 3 of the NATO Interoperability Standards & Protocols (NISP) will continue the evolution from the legacy platform based systems to a federated Network Enabled Capabilities environment. Within this part of the document, the focus is on the far-term perspective of 7 to 10 years into the future from the publication of this version of the NISP. This should encompass the realization of a fully network enabled NATO federated environment.
