Many information exchange mechanisms between existing systems are built around complex and extensive military messaging standards, such as ADatP-3 CONFORMETS, U.S. Message Text Format (USMTF) and the Variable Message Format (VMF). The intent of this AMN interoperability profile is to specify the minimum subset of military message formats needed per service line.
